Have managed to sort out the settings and Fetch is working again. The server settings at 1and1 had been changed to a new address.
All is well. -

Error message reads:
"Fetch 5.7.6 (5H1671) Intel (Web Store) running on Mac OS X 10.12.6 (16G29) Intel English
StuffIt Engine 0x820, StuffIt SDK Version 10.1.1b1
Partial serial FETCH55001-JWGJ-7H3A T
Connecting to fergusoncreations.co.uk port 21 (Mac OS X firewall is allowing connections) (18/08/2017, 08:38)
An FTP connection to “fergusoncreations.co.uk” could not be opened because the connection was refused. (Contact the server administrator for more information.)"
I contacted 1and1 who said all FTP apps should work, but recommended different settings via SFTP. Cannot find how to change server settings and port number in Fetch. have managed to get Cyberduck to work, but would prefer to go back to Fetch which I have used from the start (some 20 years ago).
