  We are unsing Fetch 5.7.3 ond Mac OSX 10.8.5 an it's extreme slow (1.2 MB/s Up- and Download). With FileZilla I have 4.5 MB/s. It seems that Fetch is regulated.

  Fetch puts no limit on transfer speeds. Have you timed transfers, or are you going by each application's displayed transfer rate? Those may be computed differently.
