I have seen this question several times, but no real solution mentioned.

I am getting upload rates at 2674 bytes/s. This is maddening. We have a DSL line, 3M/s speed. I called the broadband company, they say we are at max speed. I performed speed tests through my browser and it says I should be able to obtain speeds of 255kbps. Can you help?

Downloading files from the internet today seems to be okay, although yesterday it was very slow.

Could you choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu after you see the problem, and post the contents?

Also, could you try uploading a file to the incoming folder on ftp.fetchsoftworks.com to see how fast that is? Leave the Username and Password fields blank when you connect, and ignore the permission error when you enter the incoming folder.

    Thanks,

    Hi Jim,

I have the same situation as Tak. My upload speeds are a dismal 9 kbps but my download speeds are a respectable 125 kbps. I don't have a firewall set up on my computers and I don't think my router has one either. I have the fetch transcripts if you want me to post them in another reply to this post or upload to your ftp.

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Tom,

Please go ahead and post your transcripts, or you can send them by email to bugs at fetchsoftworks dot com if you prefer (if you email them, please remind us what your messageboard handle is so we can associate the two).

Was uploading to the ftp.fetchsoftworks.com Incoming folder any faster for you?

    Thanks,
