I routinely upload large( 100 mb media files to Linux based web servers. More often then not the upload stalls for some reason and I have to start all over again. This occurs from multiple locations to multiple servers with various speed connections from full T1s to DSL, So the question is two folded. Is there any settings either on Linux or Fetch that allow for a more flexible or stable connection and secondly if not is there a way to simply start the upload where I left off rather then start completely over again.

    Thanks Morgan

To answer your second question first, there currently isn't a way to restart uploads. This is a possible feature for a future release.

You can report problems with long transfers to the ISPs at each end of the transfer, in hopes that they will improve the reliability of the underlying networks. If that does not help I would recommend segmenting your files into smaller pieces before transferring. StuffIt Deluxe is one program that offers that feature.

    Thanks,
