stops transferring data (4 posts)

    Hello All,
    I am really pressed at what to do about this issue. For some reason when I am ftp'ing a 98 mg file to another machine about 75% through the transfer it just stops. I have adjusted the max file list cache, but still doesnt work. Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

    Is the transfer to the Mac or from the Mac?

    Is there a chance there is not room for the file at the destination?

    its from a PC to a Mac. And there is 2.4 gigs of free space. I actually just got it to transfer though. Instead of transferring it to the desktop I put it into a folder and it worked. Do you know why?

    No, the destination should not make a difference. Maybe it was a temporary problem?
