strange progress behaviour (4 posts)

  when I go to upload a file, the file uploads as it should, however the progress never finishes.
  To upload a new file I have to quit fetch and re-open. it also makes transferring multiple files impossible, so i'm assuming I have a setting wrong or something.
  As an example, right now I'm transferring up a 750b file, the status says 750 of 750 bytes - 2bytes/s 5:35:48 remaining. The file was fully uploaded many minutes ago, but fetch won't move to the next file unless I quit and re-open the connection. I am on a reliable 5Mbps upload internet connection, upload works fine on other ftp applications. any ideas?

  Hi,

  Could you send us the copy of the Fetch Transcript window after you see this problem, using the form at http://fetchsoftworks.com/fetch/feedback ? It sounds like Fetch is waiting for a server response that isn't coming for some reason, but even then I would expect Fetch to give up waiting after 30 seconds.
