I would suggest posting the contents of the Fetch Transcript window (it's listed in the Window menu) after you get the error. It might be useful to compare that to what your friend gets in the Fetch Transcript window.

Hi again. thanks for replying to my msg. YOu know what, it started working again, and I think it was the website, and I'm not convinced my friend was really able to do it before, so anyway I'm happy now. I have the latest version of fetch and it works really well. The one difference I've noticed is I can put files on top of old ones and it replaces same name old files which it never used to do on my previous version. unless I deleted the old file first. There is one problem with fetch. When I transfer a lot of files at once, eg downloading, it sometimes cuts out half way through the download, and then I don't know what I've got and what I haven't got, and I worry in case I might have corrupted partial files too.

Partial files should have a Fetch broken-floppy icon rather than the correct icon, and only the last file downloaded will be incomplete. You should be able to complete the download by double-clicking the partial file.

Hi I'm new and not that computer literate, but i've been using fetch quite hapilly for awhile now. It still works for my other two websites, but for one of my websites it now says...error on password:Login incorrect
however i haven't changed my shortcut, and when i tried typing in the info manually it says the same thing. and yet my friend in america can use my settings and get into my website. any ideas?
