The dog just keep on running (8 posts)

    When I´m change folder at the ftp, it stated "Changing folder" but in Swedish (Ändrar namn) and nothing happens.
    Sometimes when I try to download files the "clock that marks the download" just moves in ultrarapid and nothing happens.
    Whats the problem

    Hi Nick,

    Which version of Fetch are you using, and on which version of Mac OS X?

    And do you usually use Fetch in Swedish, or you usually use it in English and are unexpectedly seeing Swedish?

    I´m using 5.2.1. OS 10.4.10.
    I use fetch Swedish version.

    Hi Nick,

    Thanks for the information.

    We'd like to see a transcript from an attempt to change folders when nothing happens.

    To do this, after you try to change folders and the dog runs and nothing happens, could you please choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu (Fetch FTP-logg from the Fönster menu in Swedish), copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message? We'll take a look and try to figure out what's going on.

    Thanks for the transcript.

    I see you have you Mac OS X firewall on. Could you try turning it off temporarily, and seeing if that helps with the problem?

    Hi Nick,

    Thanks. You can turn the firewall back on, if you haven't already.

    It looks to me like you're going to the "Hitfactory Songs" folder first, then into the "Full resolution" folder, and then trying to return to the "Hitfactory Songs" folder when you have a problem. Is that correct?

    Is the "Hitfactory Songs" folder the only folder you have this problem with? Or do you have the same problem with other folders on the same server?

    And have you seen this problem on another FTP server?
