Hi,
Try dragging your current copy of Fetch from the Applications folder to the Trash. Then drag the new Fetch 5.7 icon to the Applications folder. Does that work?
Thanks,

Thanks for your support.
What I did instead:
1. Clicked my iMac HD icon on the desktop
2. Went to >Finder >File >Get Info
3. In Sharing & Permissions I clicked the + and added (Me) from the popuplist and
4. Selected Read & WriteSomehow after transfering my files from my old computer I no longer had access to most files on my new computer.
Now I was able to install Fetch 5.7

Hi,
When I try to install Fetch 5.7 with the Fetch Instaler:
<1. Drag this Fetch icon to the application folder>.
I get the following message:
The operation can't be completed because some items had to be skipped. For each item, choose File > get Info, make sure "Locked" is deselected, and then check the Sharing & Permissions section. When you are sure the items are unlocked and not designated as Read Only or No Access, try again.
What to do?
Somehow when I installed my new iMac many files have been designated as Read Only or No Access instead of Read & Write. To follow the above described procedure for each file one by one is (almost) impossible. There must be another way out to Access these items again.
