Question, The date / time stamp seen on files available to download on an FTP site are not the same when I download the files. They are off by several hours. The Date / Time on my computer is correct and the Date / Time on the remote FTP server are correct...Any Thoughts???

    Hi,

To clarify, are you uploading the files (moving them from your Mac to the server) or downloading them (moving the files from the server to your Mac)?

Also, how much are the times off by, and what time zone are you in?

    Thanks,

Downloading, and I thought about time zones as the time is off by 4 hours and as we are in dst here on the east coast that would be correct. file on server that says date stamp 4:11 PM downloads as 12:11 PM...

Time zone is correct on my computer here at home and my work system...All Mac 10.6 or later.

    Thank you so much!

    Hi,

Could you download a file, and then choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and post the contents, along with the modification date your Mac displays for the downloaded file? I'll see if I can figure out what's up.

    Thanks,
