Hi,
No, Fetch does not disconnect after a certain amount of time as long as a transfer is in progress. It is possible that the server or your network connection might do something that will disconnect you, but Fetch itself will keep transferring as long as the server is accepting data.
Our latest Fetch update, Fetch 5.6, has the ability to detect failed or stalled uploads and resume them automatically where it left off - so even if your upload is interrupted unexpectedly due to a temporary interruption from the server or your network, Fetch 5.6 should continue it to completion. So if you are not using Fetch 5.6 already, you might want to look into it.
Please let us know if you have further questions.
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

Hi, I would like to know if the software disconnects the connection after a certain time. I need to upload download a 2 gig file and want to know if Fetch would time out after a certain time? I plan on dong this overnight.
Thank you.
