    Hi

I have a client over the other side of the country that is use a Mac with Fetch FTP software.

In Perth, where i am, i have enable an Accesslist on the new cisco router at the site with the FTP Server. I have enabled ports 20/21/80 but nothing else. I am able, with my windows WS-FTP software, to connect and upload files as i wish.

However, my webdesigner with her mac/fetch software is unable to connect.

My software does not require me to specify a firewall etc. Was wondering if you guys have some ideas as to what might cause her to not connect and allow me to connect.

i have just enabled PING without her testing it yet.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

Since your firewall blocks most ports your client will need to uncheck the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" box in the Firewall section of Fetch Preferences.

    Thanks,
