Troublee uploading (4 posts)

    I am using a powerbook with Mac OS 9.2.2 and Fetch 4.0.3 and I am unable to upload. It usually starts up ok but will only transfer a small bit of the file. I have a Mac with OS X and fetch works fine on it. Any thoughts?

    How are your PowerBook and OS X machine connected to the Internet? Most uploading problems involve a problem with the modem (including DSL and cable modems) connecting the computer to the Internet.

    I am connected by DSL and I am using an Airport extreme to connect both of the machines to the DSL modem. The OS X machine has no issues uploading but I have 2 OS 9 machines that have lots of trouble. Now that I mention it fetch wont work on either OS 9 machine if that helps...the other is an imac DV. thanks

    Could you post a transcript of a successful upload with the OS X machine, and an unsuccessful upload with the PowerBook or iMac? Choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu to see the transcript.
