    I have been reading loads of other posts and finally have to ask. I have used iWeb to create a site. Saved it on my Mac. Opened Fetch and logged on. Did not use the folder iMac created, used all files inside that folder. Both copies being _files and .html. Uploaded that and got error 404. More reading revealed putting those uploaded files in a public_html file. Created that put them in. Rebooted the computer and looked through Safari at website. Still error 404. Now typing a help me question. www.torenvideo.com

    Hi Todd,

    First, just to clarify, if your server doesn't have a public_html folder already, creating one is probably not the solution. If a server requires that webpages go into a public_html folder, that folder will already exist. So, since your server didn't have one to begin with, my guess is that's not the right place to put the files.

    So, first I would move the files out of the public_html folder back into your home folder on the server.

    If you are still having problems after you do that, please do the following in order to help us figure out what the problem might be:

    * Quit Fetch.
    * Open Fetch again.
    * Connect to your server.
    * Go to the View menu, and choose Refresh.
    * Go to the Window menu, and choose Fetch Transcript.
    * Copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message.

    Then we'll take a look and try to offer advice.

    Thanks,
