when i try to install fetch 4.0.3, i get an error message, "application unexpectedly quit, no other applications affected."

i looked at the other topics similiar to my problem, but i didn't see anything that that helped me. Please help.

I would recommend deleting the following files from your Preferences folder:

    Fetch Prefs
    Fetch Cache
    Fetch Shortcuts
    com.fetchsoftworks.Fetch.plist
    com.apple.internetconfig.plist

    Does that help?

    Thanks,

You would delete those files in the Finder. Are you running Mac OS X?

Next you would click on the house icon to go to your home folder. One of the folders in your home folder is named "Library"; open that one. Inside the Library folder you will find a folder named "Preferences". And inside the Preferences folder you will find the files mentioned above, which you can drag to the Trash.

    Thanks,

Do you see any files in the Preferences folder? If so, what are a couple of their names?

    Thanks,
