Hi Barry,
We'd suggest you consider upgrading to Fetch 5.6, which includes changes to take advantage of Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard ,together with many other new features.
But Fetch 5.3.1 will work on Snow Leopard without a problem, so upgrading is not required.
You can find information about what's new in Fetch 5.6 here:
http://fetchsoftworks.com/fetch/update/info/fetch-5.6
And you can upgrade using this link:

Otherwise no, I don't think there's anything else you need to know.
Please let us know if you have further questions.
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

I am about to do a "clean install" upgrade to Snow leopard from Tiger. I have my Fetch Version 5.3 license number.
1.) Will I need to upgrade?
2.) Anything I should know about Fetch and Snow leopard?
Thank you,
Barry O'Brien
