Upgraded to version 5.8.1 and now Fetch won't connect to server

I upgraded my iMac OSX and then upgraded Fetch to v. 5.8.1 (the most recent available) and now it will not connect to the same server I have been using (before the OSX and Fetch) upgrade - and fails on both my Macbook and also my iMac after the upgrade. I re-checked all of my credentials and made sure all the permissions are also correct in preferences. Still won't connect. Error reads: "SFTP connection could not be opened because the connection to the SFTP server could not be established or was lost." Have tried rebooting everything. Nothing changes. Any ideas? Thanks.

The next time this happens could you choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and send me the contents at https://fetchsoftworks.com/fetch/feedback ?
