Upload is successful but then uploaded files or folders disappear. (2 posts)

    Hello,

    I am trying to upload a folder of images through FTP. The connection is successful and the upload goes all the way through but then disappears if I click out of the window. When I click on "Recent" I can see the folders that were uploaded but when I select one I get the message "Fetch could not open the folder because the ftp server says that the requested item could not be accessed. If you entered a file or folder name or URL, check that it is correct. Server responded: "Can't change directory to <insert my folder name> No such file or directory"

    Hi,

    Thanks for reporting this problem, and posting your transcript. The transcript doesn't show any actual uploads, so I'm guessing it's from a later session when you chose the folder names from the Recent toolbar button?

    If you aren't getting any error on the upload my best guess is that the server is moving or deleting your files and folders after you upload them. I would ask Photo Shelter about why that might be happening.
