upload problems (8 posts)

    I am having the exact problems that aquamarine is having, on a mac and I tried the ftp.fetchsoftworks as well and it also just times out...I downloaded 4.03, was using 4.01, can log in via ftp on netscape and on other computers...I am trying to get into Earthlink. Any other ideas or did Aquamarine fix their problem?

    Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after trying to upload to ftp.fetchsoftworks.com? Choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu after the upload fails.

    That's actually the server messages window. To open the Fetch Transcript window you need to choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu.

    I would recommend checking the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" checkbox in the Firewall section of Fetch Preferences. Does that help?
