My machine is on OSX. I can see all 6 Macs (with OS 9), and both printers (1 HP & 1 Toshiba)connected to the 16 port switch/hub.
The router is also connected to this switch for the cable modem. I can browse in Safari and Explorer and get email through Mail. The problem is Uploads. I connect to the site and can download files just fine, but CANNOT UPLOAD, Fetch freezes up. Any ideas?

Usually that problem indicates a problem with the cable modem or router. File uploading forces them to deal with more data than they can send immediately (a situation that doesn't often come up with other applciations). My guess is that if you tried a different FTP client you'd see the same problem.

You can try connecting your Mac directly to the cable modem to see if that makes a difference (if it does it would indicate a problem in the router). You can also try uploading from one of the other Macs, to rule out a problem with your Mac in particular. If it looks like a problem in the cable modem you'll have to ask the cable company for help.

    Thanks,
