When using SFTP to upload a file to a linux system, the uploaded file is given the current date as its "date modified" and the original "date modified"is lost. However, the "date modified" is preserved on files downloaded from the linux system. It appears that this behavior can be overridden for downloads in the Preferences>Obscure pane but not for uploads. I observed the same behavior using Fugu and Cyberduck, yet when I upload files to the same linux system from my WinXP system using WinSCP, the "date modified" is preserved. Is there a way to have Fetch preserve the "date modified" on uploads?

    Hi Jim,

No, sorry, there is not a way to have Fetch preserve the "date modified" for uploaded files.

I will make a note of your question as feedback for future versions of Fetch, though.

    Thanks,

Thanks! Hopefully this capability will appear in a future release. Keep up the good work!
