  Hi, I recently just purchased Fetch 5.1 and I am trying to upload some files to a ftp site and a messaged popped up saying, Fetch could not put the file because the ftp server encountered an error accessing a file or folder. If you entered a file name, folder name, or URL, checkthat it is correct. Server responded: the file.zip: forbidden filename.
  Is this a Fetch error or does this have something to do with ftp site? Please help!!

  Hi Sue,

  This is an error from the FTP server. Does the file you were trying to put have a space in its name? If so, try removing the spaces (you could replace them with underscores) from the file name and then uploading again.

  If that does not fix the problem, after you get the error message, could you please choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message? We'll take a look and try to figure out what's going on.

  Hi, i'm having the same trouble that Sue was having, but my folder names appear to be in order: no slashes, no spaces, etc..
