Hi,
I don't have personal experience with this, but YouTube has a couple of help topics on the subject:
http://support.google.com/youtube/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=106969
http://support.google.com/youtube/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=173684
Let me know if you have any questions about following these instructions with Fetch.

Thanks, but I don't completely understand either of those help articles. More importantly, I don't think they apply to a regular YouTube user like myself.
Both articles seem to have something to do with using YouTube's Content Manager, which is something that I am not using, and don't need.

This help article implies that you have to have a special account by referring to "your YouTube Technical Account Manger":

I think using SFTP is not available to a regular YouTube user like myself.

About a year ago, a post production service uploaded a video file larger than 2 GB to YouTube for me. A technician explained, "As per YouTube specs, files larger than 2 GB can be uploaded via SFTP."
I have never been able to find these specs. Also, I cannot find YouTube's hostname for uploading via SFTP. I want to be able to do this myself, now.
Obviously, this is really a question for YouTube. But can anyone on this forum share experience uploading via SFTP to YouTube?
