I want to replace a document on one of the pages on my site. I uploaded the changed document and changed the referral line on the web page with Simple Text. I saved as "htm". I both dragged and used the 'put command' to put the updated page on the server. It appears to be in, both the ftp site and the on the server, but when I go to the web site there is no change.

There are two common causes for this problem. One is that the web browser is using a copy of the page from its cache rather than asking the server for the changed page. You can check if this is the case by pressing the Refresh or Reload button in your browser.

If that does not fix things, I'd suspect that the directory where you uploaded the changed page is not the directory holding your website's files. Your web service provider should be able to tell you what directory your files should be in.

    Thanks,
