Uploading Stalled (4 posts)

    I am trying to upload some images to my printing lab- about 2 MB files - the progress dial gets about half way and then it stops. It says "stalled"
    I have high speed internet with a full connection. I have uploaded files in the past with no problem.
    What can I do to fix this problem?

    Thank You.

    Hi,

    Does the upload always stall at about the same place? If so, that may indicate that you are out of space (sometimes called "quota") in your account on the server.

    The first thing we would suggest is that you try deleting some old files that you no longer need from the server, if possible, and then try uploading again to see if that fixes the problem.

    If it doesn't - or there are no old files to delete - let us know and we'll investigate further.

    Thanks,

    There are no old files for me to delete.

    It stales in a different spot every time - sometimes it barely gets going and other times it gets to the point of almost being complete.

    Hi,

    Okay, it sounds like it may be some problem with the server or your network connections.

    Next I would try these steps. While they are basic troubleshooting steps, we find they do often fix problems with stalls:

    * Shut down your Mac.
    * Unplug your router or wireless base station.
    * Unplug your cable/DSL modem.
    * Plug the cable/DSL modem back in, and wait about a minute for it to get completely started up.
    * Then plug the router back in, and wait another minute for it.
    * Finally, start your Mac.

    If that doesn't help, let us know and we have a couple of other suggestions.

    Thanks,
