    hi.
i am new to this. i have read through "help" and the tutorial and followed the seemingly easy directions but my webpage is not going online.

i clicked the folder which contains my i-web designed website, i then clicked "put" and waited approximately 40 minutes whilst the files were "putting"... it now says transfered in the dialogue box but when i go to my website online it is not updated.

can you advise me, again i am new to this, so in as simple steps/terms as possible please. thanks so much

    Hi,

Could you please tell us the address (URL) of your website? We'll take a look and see if we can figure out what the problem is.

    Thanks,

I can't believe it... it's up! I guess i did something right. I did try several things so let me ask this: is it as simple as clicking "put" after clicking on my websites i-web folder? in redmag/www

I'm sorry, but I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Maybe the problem was that you just needed to reload the page in your web browser?

To upload websites created in iWeb, first you "Publish to Folder" in iWeb, then you connect to the correct folder in Fetch (in your case, the www folder), click Put, and select the files and folders that iWeb created, and wait for them to upload. Then you often need to choose Reload in your web browser when viewing your page to see your updates.

Glad to hear it's working now. I hope this helps,
