I got fetch so as to render my macintosh files readable to my server. It isn't working. They load onto the server. They are viewable on the server until I name the files (e.g. "index.html') inorder for the pages to be published. Then all I get is gibberish.

    What am I doing wrong?

We'd like some more information to help understand your problem, so we can answer your question.

What program are you using to create your web files on the Macintosh?

Normally you do not need to rename files to get them "published" on the server - is this something your server requires you to do? What service/company is providing the server you're using?
