website not updating when I drop in new files (2 posts)

  I'm dropping in new html files and images to fetch for my website, but my website is not updating with the new files. I even deleted the old files from the server but they are still live on the web!

  Hi Whitney,

  We'd like some more information to help figure out what's going on.

  Could you please do the following?

  * Quit Fetch, if it's running.
  * Open Fetch again.
  * Connect to your server.
  * Go to the View menu, and choose Refresh.
  * Upload one of your new website files.
  * Then go to the Window menu, and choose Fetch Transcript.
  * Copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message.

  We'll take a look and try to advise.
