I get this popup it seems like twice a day on FETCH:

"For security reasons, you need to code sign your application or sign your updates with a EdDSA key. See https://sparkle-project.org/documentation/ for more information."

    What does it mean??

    Thanks

    Hi,

Fetch uses the Sparkle update framework, but I haven't had reports of other Fetch users getting that alert, and I haven't seen it in my testing. Are you sure the pop-up is coming from Fetch?

    Thanks,

I did look it up and found out about the Sparkle thing.

I'm almost positive it came from FETCH but I will let you and everyone know when it pops up again, ok.

    Many thanks

    One more thing.

I just restarted my IMAC and I didn't see the FETCH icon at all so I went to FINDER/APPLICATIONS and FETCH is in there but when I click on it I get:

    FETCH
The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information.

So I downloaded 5.8.1 again and it's working fine but not showing in APPLICATIONS. Any idea how I can get FETCH back in there?

    Thanks

It just did it again!! ON FETCH!!

    Auto-Update NotConfigured
"For security reasons, you need to code sign your application or sign your updates with a EdDSA key. See https://sparkle-project.org/documentation/ for more information."

I did a screen shot but don't think there's a way to add it here!

    Hi Paul,

To get Fetch 5.8.1 into the Applications folder, drag the copy of Fetch that is currently in the Applications folder to the Trash. Then drag Fetch 5.8.1 into the Applications folder.

    Thanks,

Similar problem here. I have a client who bought a new Mac and couldn't get Fetch to work. We had him try and update, but he gets the following error message:

"AUTO-UPDATE NOT CONFIGURED. For security reasons, Fetch needs to be code-signed or it's updates need to be signed with an EdDSA key. See https://sparkle-project.org/documentation/ for more information."

I might have him uninstall and re-install to avoid the updater all together?..Suggestions welcomed however.

    Hi,

Yes, I would have him drag Fetch to the Trash and then download Fetch 5.8.2 from

    https://fetchsoftworks.com/fetch/download/latest

    Thanks,
