  hello...
  i am using a g4 powerbook and running an airport card i am using version 4.03 and OSX. fetch was working fine a couple of days ago now i get this message: Server responce: Unable to build data connection: Operation timed out. I can connect to the server on any other machine. what happened??

  Hi,

  Have you changed your Mac OS X firewall preferences recenctly? Those may interfere with Fetch's operation.

  Can you connect to other servers besides this one, or are you having problems with all servers?

  The next time you try to connect and you get the error message, could you please choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the contents of the transcript window, and paste them here? We'll take a look and try to figure out what's going on.
