The pie has been upgraded to a doughnut, but it only appears when the window is large enough to display it. So if you aren't seen a graphical progress indicator the solution is probably to make the transfer window a bit larger.

OK, this may seem like a minor issue but what happened to the progress pie readout in the transfer window???? I often monitor the progress of a transfer for across the room and even when thats not the case visual feedback of the process is always welcome. I don't want to have to remember byte counts to see that a transfer stalled... Why would this "feature" be removed in the first place???
