Please can someone tell me why it is that when I 'Put' a file into the 'ftp' in MacBinary II, it saves the file name with '.bin' at the end? I then have to rename it and delete the.bin, however, it then fails to load onto the web properly. I'm working on an iMac. Look forward to receiving some advice!

Fetch appends the ".bin" to indicate that the file is in MacBinary format. But if you want these files to be part of web pages you don't want to use MacBinary format -- instead you should use Raw Data.

    Thanks,
