I don't see any setting in Fetch that tells StuffIt to keep popping up and trying to decompress files (don't have any compressed files on the server). I'd like it to stop, but am not sure what setting I have set incorrectly.

    Thanks

Choose "Post-processing..." from the Customize menu and disable or remove any items that run StuffIt Expander. That should solve the problem.

I'm using Fetch 5.2 and I'm experiencing the same problem: StuffIt is called and it tries to unstuff certain files I'm downloading. I don't see a "Post-Processing" setting or a Customize menu in Fetch anywhere, is there a new procedure to turn off this functionality?
    Many thanks--

    Hi Sensei,

Yes, in Fetch 5 there's a checkbox in the "Transfer Options" section of the info window for disabling automatic decoding of StuffIt files.

You can read step-by-step instructions in this help topic: Decoding files automatically.

Let us know if you have further questions.

    Thanks,
