Will Fetch 8.2 work with macOS Ventura 13.0.1? (6 posts)

    I meant Fetch 5.8.2.

Maybe I should ask this question: what is the latest version of macOS that Fetch 5.8.2 (or the latest Fetch version) works with today, November 21, 2022?

Specifically, will it work with macOS Ventura (13.0.1)

    Thank you, in advance, Jim!
    Hope you're doing great.

    Hi Fran,

Yes, Fetch 5.8.2 will work with Ventura 13.0.1. However it will be slow if you have long file lists. I have a test version with a fix, contact me at https://fetchsoftworks.com/fetch/feedback if you want to try the test version.

    Thanks,

So glad to find this post. I emailed you, Jim, for the test version. I was confounded why it was taking so long.

    Hey everyone!

Fetch is pretty slow while loading the file list under Mac OS Ventura. I use a Mac Studio M1 Max System here.
It takes nearly half a second to show one row of the file list. While uploading, Fetch is putting files after that slow loading of the file list.

Maybe nobody else has this issue, but it slows down my working process a lot.
Everything else is working great on Mac OS Ventura.

    Warm greetings from Berlin, Germany!
    Oli :-)

    Hi Oli,

There is an issue in Ventura that causes the slow file lists. Please contact me at https://fetchsoftworks.com/fetch/feedback and I will send you a link to download a test version that works around this problem.

    Thanks,

    Jim Matthews

The test version works perfectly, I can attest.
