    It is rather cumbersome not to be able to organize your shortcuts via drag and drop.

    There are certainly 'punts' but none are very convenient.

    So far Apple hasn't added support for drag-reordering to their data browser control, which is what Fetch uses to display shortcut lists. I am hoping that will appear in a future OS X release, but no one at Apple is making any promises.

    Thanks,

    My understanding is that Apple making the change would certainly make it easier on your company... but don't you think it may be a good idea to bite the bullet and reprogram to allow this functionality now? Especially since Apple has not made any commitments to making this change?

    I know I certainly woudn't want to leave the future of my software development in someone else's hands. And I've seen quite a few posts about this one issue in these forums.

    Thank you for your time.

    Yes, I may need to bite the bullet and find my own way to implement drag-reordering.

    Thanks for the feedback,

    And that's why you're the best FTP program out there! :)

    One way to implement drag-reorder would be to add menu commands to do the same things that "Draw" programs do when they layer items on top of each other:

    * Move selection UP one row
    * Move selection DOWN one row
    * Move selection to TOP of list
    * Move selection to BOTTOM of list

    And if you can select discontinuous entries:

    * Exchange two selected items

    It would be great, too, if multiple selections could be moved en masse to the top or the bottom.

    Thanks for the suggestion; this is still something we're looking at.
