    Hi there
    the ftp host is.......
    subdomain.domain.net.au
But Fetch won't log on. The dialogue box reads "Error: There is no host by that name".
However I am able to access the host with Internet Explorer.
    What am I doing wrong?

Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window?

    Thanks,

There are only two lines in the Fetch Transcript window:

    System Version = 0x910
    Connecting to ftp.hoiho.murchison.net.au port 21 (24/8/01 1:09:00 PM)

Doesn't seem to be much help!

Apparently there's no such host as ftp.hoiho.murchison.net.au. I think you want just hoiho.murchison.net.au. You'd have to ask the network administrator to define an alias that points ftp.hoiho.murchison.net.au to hoiho.murchison.net.au.
