Fetch 4.0 includes wide-ranging support for the latest in Apple technologies:
  • AppleScript. Fetch is fully scriptable and recordable, and features a thorough Apple Event Object Model along with support for the Anarchie and GetURL suites of Apple Events.
  • Drag and Drop. Fetch supports drag-and-drop of files, folders, shortcuts, URLs, and even preferences information.
  • Keychain. Fetch supports the Keychain in Mac OS 9 and X, for secure storage of your server passwords.
  • Contextual Menus. Control-clicking on remote files, directories, and shortcuts offers quick, one-click access to the features you need, when you need them. Contextual menus are also supported on System 7, which does not have them built-in.
  • Balloon Help. All of Fetch's menus, dialog boxes, and windows are documented with Balloon Help.
  • QuickTime. Fetch uses QuickTime to support immediate listening and viewing of sounds, music, video, images, animation and other media.
  • Text To Speech. Fetch can tell you when an operation is complete.
