Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Hi,

This sort of problem usually indicates that you've uploaded your pages to the wrong place on the server. I took a look but I cannot figure out what the exact problem might be, so I cannot give specific advice.

I'd recommend you look over our iWeb help topic at: http://fetchsoftworks.com/fetch/help/Contents/Tutorial/UsingFetchWithiWeb.html

And also the "solving problems with websites" help topic at http://fetchsoftworks.com/fetch/help/Contents/Tutorial/SolvingProblemsWithWeb.html

And if you're still having problems after looking at those and trying their suggestions, let us know and we can try to figure it out.

    Thanks,

Hey scott thanks for the help. Could you tell me where it should go. I always clicked on public_html and then i would put my iweb stuff in a fold named allseasonscarpetcleaning. I deleted the folder on accident . I made a new one and now it wll not work. I stressing because this is my business webpage and I can't have it down. What should the folder say in the public_html? Can it say anything or should it match my website page? If you want you can log onto my fetch. thanks

    Hi,

You should not rename any of the files or folders; you should leave them exactly as iWeb names then after you use the "Publish to a Folder" command.

Please try following these exact steps:

    1. Create a folder on your desktop with the name of your website (something like "My WebSite March 5").
    2. In iWeb, go to the "File" menu, and choose "Publish to a Folder".
    3. You will be prompted to choose a folder to put your website files in. Choose the folder you created on your desktop.
    4. iWeb will export the files that make up your website.
    5. Open Fetch.
    6. Enter the information for your server into the New Connection dialog and click Connect.
    7. A new window listing the folder and files on your server appears. This is the Fetch transfer window.
    8. In the transfer window, open the "public_html" folder by double-clicking on its icon.
    9. Open the website folder you created on your desktop. You will see an index.html and one or more folders.
    10. Select all of these and drag them to the transfer window of Fetch.
    11. Fetch will start uploading your files and folders. The dog cursor runs until Fetch has finished putting your files on to the server.
    12. Once Fetch has finished uploading, visit your website to make sure it looks correct.

Let me know how that goes.

    Thanks,
