  hello....trying to log into software to upload music to my site for first time

  im typing my host name,user ID and my password..yet it says my login password is wrong....these details are the same as my website,they work fine on there so why does the software says it wrong?

  if this is a stupid question,please hepl,im shite on computers

  Hi Richie,

  The hostname you use for uploading files to your website, and for viewing your website in a web browser, is often different. You should double-check with your Internet service provider/web hosting provider to make sure you have the correct hostname.

  ive typed in correct host name etc,..keeps saying my password login is incorrect..but it works on my site ok

  ok..ive aquired the correct host name

  but it now says the connection was refused by the server

  Hi,

  After you try to connect and you get the error message, could you please choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the contents of the transcript window, and paste them here? We'll take a look and try to figure out what's going on.
