I am having difficulty installing Fetch 5.1 on 4 OS X 10.3.9 builds. When dragging Fetch to the application folder I am encountering an error:

“The alias “PrivateHeaders” cannot be copied to the destination. Destination may not support this file”

    Hi,

That's not an error we've heard of before so we don't have an immediate answer for you; we'd like some more information.

To clarify, when you say "4 OS X 10.3.9 builds," do you mean on 4 different computers running Mac OS X 10.3.9?

Do you know if the discs on these machines are formatted using the UNIX File System instead of the Mac OS Extended file system?

Have you tried downloading a fresh copy of Fetch 5.1 and reinstalling? Can you drag the application to the desktop instead of the Applications folder successfully?

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire

    4 G5s Desktops running OSX 10.3.9

All 4 are using Mac OS Extended File Systems.

I have 1 disk for each system, labeled eSellerate eCD Fetch Softworks (c) 2006.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the additional information.

Could you please try downloading Fetch 5.1 from here:

    http://fetchsoftworks.com/Fetch5.dmg

and see if you have the same problem installing from the downloaded disk image, so that we know if it's a problem with the CD?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

    Thanks for the followup.

Sorry for the bad CD media and the inconvenience; we'll check and make sure there's not a problem with the mastering, and once we've done that, let you know how you can get a replacement.

    Hi,

We've looked into this and believe any potential problems with the CDs have been resolved.

    Please email

    support at esellerate dot net

and ask for a new Fetch 5.1 CD if you would like one (mention that your current one is defective).

    Thanks,
