  it says it "can't create, permission denied"

  You don't have the necessary permission with your current login and password to upload.
  Sometimes a server script may have created the directory you are trying to load into?
  Typically its the ownership of the directory that is the problem. Apache thinks 'nobody' or 'root' owns it and your password etc. isn't allowed to alter it.
