  Deleted an MPEG 4 MOVIE, ABOUT 500 MB. TOOK FOREVER. IS THIS A SERVER PROBLEM OR FETCH?

  Hi Steve,

  Normally the size of the file shouldn't make a difference in how quickly a file is deleted. However, how long it takes to delete a file is a function of the server, not Fetch.

  Fetch sends a delete request to the server, and waits for the server to respond (so Fetch can tell you if the file was deleted successfully or not); so it sounds like there may have been a long delay in the server replying that the deletion was successful.

  If you continue to have problems with deletes being slow, let us know and we can gather some more information and see if there's any advice we can give you.

  Thanks, Scott. Actually, once I got the first file deleted, the rest went instantly. It was just that first one.
