fetch can't open server (2 posts)

    i can not access my site. it gives me an error:

    "file transfer server has shut down"

    it connects and it just sits there for 10 minutes saying, getting list. i can access the site from my other computer but my powerbook g4 osx can not

    i have tried turnning off [pasv]. no luck.

    am i doing something wrong?

    Do you have the OS X firewall (or some other firewall software) turned on?

    If not, could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after you try to connect? Posting the contents from the other computer as well may help. To view the transcript choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu.
