FTP Command for disk usage (2 posts)

    Hello I have been looking at the FTP commands on the web to try and find how much disk space a server has and how much is free.

    I failed!

    What is the FTP command for disk usage, or is there another way to work it out with Fetch?

    There's no FTP command to total disk usage, but Fetch can do that for you. Select the files and directories in question and choose "Get Info..." from the Remote menu to get a count of files and directories, and the number of bytes they take.

    Fetch can't tell you how much free space the server has, unfortunately.
