  Cannot upload most files in the folder because they are grayed out. No idea why.

  Mac OS X Snow Leopard on a new MacBook and first attempt on this computer. Working great on old one. Thanks for any help.

  Hi,

  Do I understand correctly that you are clicking the Put button in Fetch, but then you can't choose the files you want to upload because they are grayed out?

  I think that would indicate that you don't have permission to read those files. Perhaps the ownership or permissions were messed up in the process of moving the files to your new computer? Can you open those files in the Finder?

  Yes, can see using finder. I think something DID get messed up - not sure what - but I pulled that folder off the ext drive to the desktop. Then went thru the process again and somehow it is fixed! In the process I discovered my newly updated editor has a bad bug so that didn't help either --- craaaaazy. Anyway, everything is working now that I went back to an old version of the editor. Thanks for your quick reply!
