Saving to Netware (2 posts)

    We are saving files to a Netware 5.1Server running FTP. We are able to save to the server fine but when we pull a file back from the server to the MAC we get the following errors...
    Could not be opened because the application program that created it could not be found.
    Could not find a translator extension with appropriate translators.

    Make sure that the file names have the right extension for the file type (e.g. .doc for Microsoft Word files) and that you have a suffix mapping that will assign the right type/creator for the extension. That way Fetch can assign the right type/creator when it downloads the file.
