When I select a file to upload, Fetch tries to upload my entire hard drive into that folder. Status flickers between "Creating file" and "Changing file" while uploading.

If I stop the process mid-way, some files show to have been uploaded (a mix of files from the selected folder and from elsewhere on the drive). Then when I hit Refresh, no files or folders show to have been uploaded.

    ???

    Thanks for any help,
    Tracy

I've never seen anything like that. Are you using "Put Files..." or "Put Folders and Files..."? Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after seeing the problem?

    Thanks,

Below are the Fetch transcript and the log from the server for the attempted upload.

Note that I can transfer files correctly, just not folders. I can make and modify directories on the remote server too. All permissions on that server are set correctly and I shouldn’t have an access problem. This happens when I use Put Files and Folders, and when I use Mirror. Also, FYI I am transferring from Mac to PC.

    Thanks for your help!

Sorry -- I forgot to mention that this happens with both "Put Folders & Files" and with "Mirror".

Have you tried uploading a folder without a space or slash in the name? The server is letting Fetch create a folder but for some reason not letting Fetch enter it. It's a bug that Fetch doesn't stop at that point, and I'll see about fixing that.

    Thanks,

Yes, the problem happens with a folder with a one-word name. Also, files that have spaces in the name upload just fine. So you think that the basic problem is with the server denying access?

    Thanks,
