Fetch appears to work with Jaguar (OS X 10.2). There are some AppleScript issues that we are working on, so there will probably be a 4.0.3 release before too long to fix those problems and a few other bugs. Most Fetch users shouldn't have any problems upgrading to Jaguar.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

I'd recommend toggling the setting of the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" checkbox in the Firewall section of Preferences, and then opening a new connection. If that does not help I'd suggest posting the contents of the Fetch Transcript window; it may contain clues to the problem.
Thanks,

4.0.2 runs, but it will not connect to any of my servers w/10.2. Worked great in 10.1.x and 9.2. Error message of "Server Response: Can't build data connection: Connection refused".
Try the fixed you recommended w/firewall and nothing is working, had to rebbot in 9.2 to use 4.0.2.
Is this a complier problem I have been reading about?

I'd like to see the contents of Fetch Transcript with PASV turned on and off.
Thanks,

Jim,
I had turned the PASV on & off the other day and no luck. I tossed out the Fetch Pref's and Cache
and turned the PASV on and now I can connect and see what is on my servers. Go Figure! Thanks for the help

I am having a similar issue. Whenever I attempt to login to a Microsoft IIS server, I get the error message "Server Response: Can't build data connection: Connection refused."
The admin (who to his credit hasn't hit me with some smartass anti-mac comment yet) can FTP in from all over the place and with multiple different FTP clients.
This is with PSAV turned ON. When PSAV is turned off, I don't get a connection or an error message, after some time, I will click "Stop" and then the program just crashes.
My transcript is posted below... please help!
