Can fetch upload any document and make it a wed page ? (2 posts)

    I am researching all the programs I will need to get my web site up and running.
    Fetch looks like a great program but I have a few queations.

    1. Do I need a special program to create a web page ? can I make a document in Appleworks add a few pictures to it and upload that document to my web site with Fetch ?

    2. What programs can I use to create a basic web page...without spending hundred of dollars ? ( I went to Comp-USA and they had nothing for mac users to build a web site) ... from what I understand the fetch program is used manily for uploading and changing your site. ? is that correct ?

    3. I want to download and purchase the Fetch program. Which of the 4 options should I choose ?? I have a mac G4 running OS 9.2 but in a few weeks I will be updating to OS 10.2 ?

    Yes, Appleworks lets you save a document in HTML format, and you can then upload it to a web site. For more details, see the Appleworks documentation.

    That's correct. Affordable programs for building web pages include BBEdit Lite and Netscape Composer (both free).

    It shouldn't matter which download link you choose, and the same copy of Fetch 4.0.3 will work on both OS 9.2 and OS 10.2.
