Hi,
You could use Fetch's Edit command to edit HTML files in a helper application and save the changes back to the server automatically.
Since most of the helper applications are text editors, you'd have to edit the raw HTML, which may not be what you want to do. Unfortunately, many popular HTML editors, such as GoLive and Dreamweaver, do not support the Edit feature of Fetch.
To learn more about the Edit feature, including which text editors are supported, see the Edit topic in Fetch Help (or click on the link).
Otherwise, yes, you need to use "Get" to download the files to your Macintosh, make your changes, and then upload them again. You can use Fetch's Put command to upload them, or drag and drop them on to the Fetch transfer window. Be sure to upload the pages back to their original location, or you will not see the changes.
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

Want to make some text changes on my pages, but I'm nerdish. When I go to htdocs, do I 'Get' the desired html page, make my changes, then 'Publish'?
Or must I learn Nvu or something else? :O
